During the last meeting between ALBCONTROL’s Management and the air traffic controllers, a complete and detailed plan was presented, which included a proportional and progressive scheme of salary increase against air traffic, thus presenting the possible scenarios of reaching the previous level of pay.

At this meeting, it was agreed that Controllers will be kept informed on air traffic levels, financial effects caused by traffic reduction, as well as the plan for the future.

However, even after several meetings between them and ALBCONTROL’s management, as well as the presentation of the prospect of salary increase based on air traffic levels, the Controllers have decided to boycott the air navigation services by suspending work indefinitely and until all their requests are met.
