The National Air Navigation Authority of Albania changed the name from ANTA to ALBCONTROL, to be closer to state and national identity, to better represent the services it provides, and to be aligned with European sister companies, since November 15, 2013. An event to introduce the new image of the company was held, on December 18, 2013,
This event was attended by Mr. Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, representatives from the Government Cabinet, Mr. Arben Ahmeti, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship; Mr. Edmond Haxhinasto, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport; and also by the Minister of Social Welfare and Youth, Minister of Culture, Minister of Innovation and Technology, Minister of Urban Development and Tourism, representatives from the Albanian Parliament, business representatives, media and associates.
This event was also attended by our counterparts from the Agency of Air Navigation Service of Kosovo.
The General Director of ALBCONTROL, Mrs. Belinda Balluku, after welcoming the guests, made a presentation of ongoing work that the Albanian National Air Navigation Company is currently conducting.
Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship, as the sole owner of this company, held a speech, and also the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, etc.
